Maternity sessions are best scheduled between 28–35 weeks of pregnancy, when your baby bump is beautifully defined and you’re still feeling comfortable.
Timing can vary slightly depending on your body and pregnancy journey, but this window tends to offer the most flattering and relaxed experience. I recommend booking early to ensure availability, then we’ll finalize your session date as you get closer.

Maternity sessions are best reserved during your second trimester, especially if you’re hoping for a weekend or golden-hour outdoor session. Availability can fill quickly, so securing your date early ensures we can thoughtfully plan every detail of your experience.

Professional hair and makeup are not included in your collection. However, I’m happy to recommend trusted artists who specialize in camera-ready makeup for both studio and outdoor sessions. If you choose to include these services, I can connect you directly with a recommended artist for pricing and booking. You’ll have the option to visit her studio in Rockwall, or she can come to the studio on the day of your session for added convenience.

Once your images enter post-production, I carefully refine each portrait using advanced tools in Adobe Photoshop that allows me to gently smooth areas such as fabric bunching from fuller gowns creating the beautifully tailored, form-fitting look you often see at the waist in my portfolio. Subtle enhancements may also be applied to add soft volume to your hair and lightly contour areas such as your baby bump, arms, thighs, neckline, and chest. Every adjustment is intentionally minimal designed to enhance your natural features while preserving an authentic, elegant look. If you have any specific skin concerns such as scars, blemishes, moles, or tattoos, please feel free to share them in advance. These can be carefully and naturally edited during the retouching process, while still maintaining a soft, realistic finish.

Within one week of your session, you’ll receive a thoughtfully curated proofing gallery to review and select your favorite images. Each gallery is carefully narrowed down to approximately 40–55 of the strongest, most flattering portraits. Ensuring every option reflects my signature style and quality. Your private proofing gallery will remain available for one week, giving you time to select the images included in your collection. Once your selections are made, each image is individually and meticulously hand-edited. This process begins with professional RAW processing, followed by detailed refinements such as skin retouching, color correction, natural teeth whitening, subtle eye enhancement, and balanced shadow and highlight adjustments. I also remove any background or foreground distractions and apply soft, natural color enhancements to create a polished, cohesive final image. Every portrait is edited by hand. Never batch processed to ensure the highest level of quality and attention to detail.
