However, timing can vary slightly depending on your body and pregnancy journey. I recommend booking once you feel confident and ready to celebrate this special season.
Can We Schedule a Consultation Before Booking? How Do I pick A gown?
Absolutely. A maternity consultation is an essential part of creating a relaxed, personalized experience. We’ll schedule a studio visit where we can connect in person and thoughtfully plan every detail. From selecting your gown and styling your look to choosing the ideal timing and location for your session. During your visit, you’ll be guided through the studio wardrobe so we can find a gown that beautifully complements your vision. Will You Help Me Find a Location? Where Is Your Studio Located?
Absolutely. Each maternity session is thoughtfully designed around your vision and comfort. Whether you’re drawn to golden-hour fields, architectural backdrops, or serene Dallas-area locations, I guide you in selecting a setting that complements your wardrobe and aesthetic. For a timeless, controlled environment, my private studio offers an elegant alternative. My private portrait studio is located at 4014 Dalton Dr. Rowlett. Serving families throughout Rowlett, Rockwall, Plano, Frisco, and surrounding DFW communities.
How Do You Help Clients Feel Confident and Comfortable During Their Session?
Feeling a little nervous is completely natural. Most of my clients tell me they felt the same way before their session. From the moment you arrive, I guide you through gentle posing, natural movement, and subtle direction so you never feel unsure of what to do. My approach is calm, encouraging, and unhurried, allowing genuine connection and authentic emotion to unfold naturally. You don’t need modeling experience, just a willingness to trust the process. My goal is for you to leave feeling confident, beautiful, and genuinely cared for.
Is Professional Hair & Makeup Included?
Professional hair and makeup are not included in the collection price; however, I’m happy to recommend Andreina, a highly experienced artist based in Rockwall who specializes in makeup tailored specifically for camera and studio lighting. Makeup often photographs differently than it appears in person, and she expertly balances application to complement my lighting setup for a flawless, polished result on camera. If you’d like to include her services, simply let me know when you inquire, and I will coordinate everything once your session date is secured. She is available at the studio on the day of your session for an additional travel fee, with weekday availability, only. I also have a trusted hair and makeup artist in Plano available, if needed.
How Is the Final Image Selection Determined?
You’ll have the opportunity to select your favorite portraits from a thoughtfully curated proofing gallery. I begin by narrowing the session to the strongest, most flattering images, ensuring every option reflects my signature style and artistic standard. From there, you choose the final images included in your collection. This approach allows you to remain part of the selection process while ensuring your final gallery feels cohesive, refined, and beautifully finished.
Is Professional Retouching Included in Your Maternity Portrait Experience?
Every final image is thoughtfully refined using my signature editing process. This includes professional color correction, exposure balancing, and detailed retouching to ensure your portraits feel polished, natural, and timeless never over-edited. When choosing a maternity photographer, it’s important to consider not only the session experience, but also the level of professional editing included. What Is the Turnaround Time for My Final Gallery?
Your fully edited maternity gallery is delivered within 4 weeks of your session. Each image is individually refined to ensure it meets my signature standard of color, light, and natural retouching. Because every portrait is carefully perfected, turnaround times may vary slightly during peak seasons; however, I always communicate clearly so you know exactly when to expect your final collection.
